It all began in 1965 when Erik and Thea made their commitment to each other. Faced with housing challenges at the time, Erik embarked on a career at the Gas and Water Company, which ultimately led to the offer of a home in Amstelveen for the couple in 1966.

For three decades, Erik dedicated his efforts to the Gas and Water Company while Thea contributed 25 years of service to the municipality of Amstelveen. Their shared dedication and hard work formed the foundation of their enduring partnership.

A New Chapter: Relocation to Bovenkerk

Having resided on Arno Street for 54 years, Erik and Thea embarked on a new chapter this year by moving to Bovenkerk. The transition marked a significant change and new beginnings for the couple as they continue their journey together.
